Hi, my name is Andrew C Farmer and I’m the founder of KIDZ’N’MOTION, our mottos are, “We put the Fun In Fitness” and “Active Kids are Healthy Kids”. In today’s society, kids have become extremely good at computers, video games and even knowing the latest T.V craze. The unfortunate side effect of this is a lack of physical activity. Studies have shown that inactive children may show a decline in academic performance and can become overweight. These risks can include the possibility of developing serious health problems such type II diabetics or even heart problems.
At KIDZ’N’MOTION our goal is to put the fun back in exercising through a variety of exercise programs designed just for kids. Fitness is fun again, let us show you how through birthday parties, in home parties, kids exercise play dates, event planning, backyard obstacle courses and more. So let the fun begin. |

Just Added: Back Yard Movie Night
|
Bring the movies to your backyard!
We're happy to now offer an all-inclusive backyard movie night experience! Because what would a movie be without some popcorn! This all inclusive package includes setup and teardown of a screen (regular or inflatable depending on weather conditions), speakers, an outdoor projector, popcorn or snow-cones as well as transportation. For best results, we recommend that these occur closer to dusk or in a shaded environment as visibility of the display will be limited otherwise. |

Fitness
KIDzN'Motion Fitness
|
This class is about making exercises fun through games and exercise related activities. Each week children learn a new interactive game using parachutes and air lite floaters, tunnels, and obstacles, buzy bee tag games, ball games etc. The goal of the class is to improve their overall motor coordination, concentration and teamwork abilities in a fun safe non-competitive environment. |
Senior Advanced Sports & Games

This class is geared to older children, as we incorporate more advanced games such as scooter hockey, team hand ball, 4 square elimination ball, team building games, and some of the classic sports. We strive to help children be better teammates, respect fellow players and understand the importance of fair play in sports. |

Ball Hockey (Grade 4 and up)

We are excited to launch a new Ball Hockey program. It is designed to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to learn Ball hockey and develop physical literacy and love for the sport. Players will develop sportsmanship, build confidence, and make new friends, all in a fun safe environment. We Provide the ball hockey sticks, protective eye wear and 2 goalie equipment. Note that there is a 14 player limit. |

Flag Football
|
Flag football offer kids an outlet to practice the sport they love without the risks associated with contact sports. Kids will learn drills for footwork, passing, catching and in game skills, in a fun teamwork environment. We provide the flags and balls. |

Futsal (indoor soccer) / outdoor Soccer
Futsal is a variant of soccer played on a hard court and mainly indoors with a smaller no bounce ball. It can be considered a version of five-a-side soccer (1 goalie 4 players). It is a fun fast game where kids learn to improve their team skills, passing and shooting. For Outdoor Soccer students will learn footwork, passing drills, and ball control. We strive to help build on skills that the students may already have learned through other soccer programs or help in developing skills for those that are new to the game.

Basketball

Our program works on the players fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding positioning and so on. Students learn a variety of basic game skills and then build on them, through games and teamwork. We can also design programs geared to your school needs from day care up to high school, please contact us for this option to further discuss your needs. |

DIY & Education
D.I.Y Projects

DIY is the abbreviation for do-it-yourself: this activity class consists making cool things out of everyday items we find around our houses. There are 4 possible projects as follows: wood working, soldering a LED project, Mini Robotics and 3D Pen Printing. Note that some materials will be supplied by us and some we will ask students to bring in. Also, this class is for older students because we will be using scissors, hot glue guns, Soldering pens, and 3D Pens. All crafts are safe and fully supervised. |

3D Pen Projects
|
This activity class consists making cool things using the new technology of 3D pens. Children will learn how to use the 3D pens to create 2 and 3 dimensional creations based on their imagination. Classes start with the basic drawings then advance to 3d art creations. Note that materials will be supplied by us and we only use PLA plant-based plastic that are biodegradable and nontoxic. All crafts are safe and fully supervised, but the pens are based on the idea like hot glue guns and tips are warm. You child will be thrilled to being their creations to life. |

Kidz Beginner Soldering and Woodburning programs
|
This is a fun beginner class for kids to learn the basics of circuitry. They will then use this knowledge to build anything from a basic LED clock to a mini robot. Woodburning classes are a fun way for kids to put their creative ideas on wood using basic burning/shading techniques. These classes involve using Soldering pens and are reserved for our older kids, all activities are fully supervised and all protective equipment is always used. |

BRICKS 4 KIDZ
Coding (Scratch ONLY)
The ability to code is a key component of technology education today. Our coding program will teach students important strategies to enhance their logic and problem solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow. Our program offers a skill level progression of coding concepts. Students will be introduced to basic coding with a fun, user-friendly coding software.
Coding (Scratch + Building with WeDo or EV3)
Bring LEGO® Bricks to life with coding! The ability to code is a key component of technology education today. Our coding programs will teach students important strategies to enhance their logic and problem-solving skills, as well as help them work toward becoming technological innovators of tomorrow. Our programs offer skill level progression of coding concepts as students advance through multiple levels from beginner through advanced. Students will build models with LEGO® Education's WeDo or EV3 elements, then control their models with the codes they write.
Video Game Design
Students will develop a range of coding and problem-solving skills as they create fun video games. Game designers will think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively to create various video games. Each Game Design unit includes a themed mini-model built with LEGO® Bricks that will be the main character of all of the games. Each game progressively teaches more advanced capabilities within the video game design software. Students will be proud and excited to actually play their very own completed video games.
EV3 Mindstorm Robotics
Experience the cutting edge of technology with the introduction of LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Robotics. Students will be captivated as they incorporate the newest generation of motors, sensors and software by programming their commands directly into the intelligent brick. Test their capabilities by moving an object with a robotic claw, building a robot that draws, or creating a mouse trap. Our endless list of builds is sure to provide the complete fundamental components of robotics at its best
Stop Motion Animation
Light, cameras, LEGO® action! Use LEGO® bricks to tell YOUR story, complete with music, special effects and all your favorite LEGO® mini- figure characters! In this unique and creative camp, students will plan, script, stage, shoot, and produce their own mini-movie using Stop Motion Animation. Working as a team, students will use LEGO® components to build the set and props, then shoot their movie using a camera. Teams will use movie-making software to add special effects, titles, credits and more. When the movie is complete, campers will impress friends and family with a screening party on the last day of camp. Don't miss your chance to be a movie producer!
Comic Creator Description
Do you love comics? Have you ever wanted to write your own story or make your own comic strip? This camp is for you! Campers will invent, develop and create their very own story, build models using LEGO® bricks and use these images to create a unique comic strip that is theirs to keep! Watch your lego creations come to life in this unique and exciting LEGO® brick camp! Projects will utilize traditional bricks, and art mosaic LEGO® bricks as well as laptops and cameras to produce their very own LEGO® comic strips!
Model Designer
What is better than a hands-on class where students can build motorized structures out of LEGO® Bricks, using one-of-a-kind model plans designed by Bricks 4 Kidz®! Instructional content is multi-disciplinary and designed by educators to increase the student’s general knowledge and introduce S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) concepts related to the day’s model. Lessons are designed around students’ interests, with themes such as animals, space, transportation and sports.
